The Spirit of a Breaker is someone who:

1). Not satisfied with the status quo

2). He or She wants to go deeper in God.

3). Has a deep yearning for God to be magnified and exploded into life situations.

4). Desires to fulfill the will of God, even through great personal sacrifice.

KJV 2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound  mind.

A Person with the breakthrough anointing is like a battering Ram!

In ancient times, their was a common practice used to breach the walls of, cities, fortifications, castles etc.. It was the use of a Battering Ram.

Battering-ram - (Ezek. 4:2; 21:22), a military engine, consisting of a long beam of wood hung upon a frame, for making breaches in walls. The end of it which was brought against the wall was shaped like a ram's head.

Webster’s Definition is

\Bat"ter*ing-ram`\, n.

(Mil.) An engine used in ancient times to beat down the

 Note:

It was a large beam, with a head of iron, which was

sometimes made to resemble the head of a ram. It was

suspended by ropes to a beam supported by posts, and so

balanced as to swing backward and forward, and was
impelled by men against the wall. --Grose.

A Church with a Breaker Spirit is:

1). Like a battering ram.

2). Explodes upon the enemy in a city by unity to establish the Kingdom.

3). Will see resources from heaven appear as they press. (Job 22:28;Isa 45:11)

4). Will have the armies of heaven working with them as they enact kingdom business.

5). Learns with every new breakthrough there is another level to attain; Paul spoke of this

in 2 Cor. 3:18  ‘From glory to glory’

6). Knows that there is one who has gone before to break the way for us to breakthrough.

7). Learns it first begins with individual attaining the breaker spirit.

*The scriptures are full of examples of Breakers:

Gideon, David, are two prime examples:

* For every breaker starts somewhere, usually low and Works up to greatness.

* Breakthrough comes at opportune time! – 1 Sam. 17:48-53

Opportune time was when Goliath ran to him (v48)

Opportune time for breakthrough in the spirit usually isn’t comfortable or orderly in the flesh.

Opportune time in the spirit is many times inopportune in the flesh.

Gal. 6:9 “don’t be weary….we’ll reap in (opportune or strategic time) due season…..”

* Breakthrough Anointing is contagious! When David defeated Goliath, the whole Israelite army

   suddenly became breakers!

* The Word is an instrument of breakthrough anointing!

   KJV Jeremiah 23:29

Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Knowledge of the Word and Confession of the Word is the equivalent of swinging the hammer!

* The fruit connected with breakthrough: Longsuffering

When longsuffering (patience and endurance) are mixed with faith, it produces breakthrough.

The secret is not waiting, but waiting in faith to inherit the promise of breakthrough.

KJV Hebrews 6:11-12

11.  And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

 12.  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

The spirit of a Breaker: Jesus and the breakthrough presence of God.

When Jesus died on the cross he uttered the words ‘it is finished’, he provided the most perfect breakthrough ever accomplished. He was the perfect sacrifice for sin, and the perfect sacrifice

Brought about the perfect and permanent breakthrough for us, and the blessing of the presence of God. For the veil was rent in two, that we through Him might enter into the presence of God.
